Hey everyone,

 

It was good to be able to talk to you. Well I am in an even bigger hurry than last week. We have to fill the font for a baptism at three. It is really exciting to be able to hold a baptism. it feels like it has been a while in comparison to the last ones.

 

I can't believe how fast the time flies. There is so little time but there is still much I can do in that time I have left. Next week will begin my final transfer in the mission....that is scary I will tell you what happens with that next week.

 

Elder Tidwell used Skype to contact his family and the old lady saw the picture in the computer and had no idea that it was a picture and thought that the hallway behind his family was there and asked her granddaughter if she was going down that hall to get her dinner. It was pretty funny.

 

In other news we spoke in the Tongan branch I saved the program because it was in Tongan it was kind of cool to be able to use a little Tongan that I learned from Elder Kafoa in that talk.

 

I got Grandma's Package thank you so much Grandma. I love the talk John Bytheway is a very inspirational speaker.

Well i have a short time i will start with the questions.

1. Why is John your favorite book in the Bible?

1. Tell us another faith promoting story?? I need some to share as spiritual thoughts at church. (at least a hundred words)
 WELL I WAS HOPING TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER THIS SO HERE IT GOES:

LORRAIN NELSON FROM WEST OGDEN HAS BEEN DOING REALLY WELL. SHE IS RIGHT ON TRACK FORTHE TEMPLE IN FEBRUARY. SHE HAS BEEN AMAZING HOW MUCH ENTHUSIASM SHE HAS HAD FOR THE GOSPEL. SHE DOES BAPTISMS FOR THE DEAD AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. SHE STILL ENCOURAGES HER MOM TO MEET WITH THE MISSIONARIES. IT IS AMAZING YOU HAVE THESE PEOPLE THAT STRUGGLE AND THEN YOU HAVE THE ONE PERSON THAT WORKS THEIR HARDEST. IT MAKES THOSE TEN PEOPLE THAT STRUGGLE WORTH THE STRUGGLE THAT YOU HAD TEACHING THEM WHEN YOU TEACH PEOPLE LIKE LORRAINE. IN A WAY THE SAVIOR FELT THE SAME WAY WITH JUDAS ISCARIOT HE WAS SADDENED THAT HE WOULD BETRAY HIM BUT HE HAD JOY IN HIS FAITHFUL APOSTLES AND DISIPLES.

Hey Everyone,

Seeing as there are a lot of questions and I have a time limit today I will start by answering them.

Questions:
            Did you meds get there?

NOT YET
            What time will you be calling on Christmas?  Will we have more time to talk?

NOT SURE YET SEND ME THE PHONE NUMBER THAT YOU WANT ME TO CALL.

Amy:    What is the best thing that happened this week?

HAD A REALLY GOOD DISTRICT MEETING
            What is the worst thing that happened this week?

WE HAVENT SCHEDULED ANY MORE BAPTISMS

Marvin:
1. So are you becoming an expert cleaner yet? Are you going to be able to apply those cleaning skills to your room when you get home?
 YA I KEEP OUR APARTMENT CLEAN OR SHOULD I SAY THAT NONE OF THE STUFF THAT IS SCATTERED IS MINE
2. What are you going to be doing for Christmas? Do you have multiple dinners or what?
 NO BIG PLANS YET OTHER THAN TO BAPTIZE
3. Is there a Christmas party there? Did you do anything at them or were you able to go? what kind of events did they have at them? Was the food good? What did you eat? Tell us about the Christmas party?

WE WENT TO SEVERAL THE FOOD WAS GOOD JUST SANTA CAME THAT IS THE ONLY EVENT.
 4. Have you had anything stolen yet? Have you been jumped? Explain what happened!
 NOTHING STOLEN, I HAVE NOT BEEN JUMPED EITHER
5. Did you get the letters the ward sent? How many did you end up getting? Were there any funny ones?
 YA A LOT THERE WERE SEVERAL FUNNY ONES. I ENJOYED HEARING FROM WARD MEMBERS.  I DID MISS GETTING ONE FROM SIS MASONER
6. What is the first thing you are going to do when you come home? There has to be something all missionaries have something!
 PUT IN MY PAPERS TO GO ON A MISSION....NO I GUESS I WILL GET RELEASED AND HAVE DINNER WITH EVERYONE.
7. Have you gotten a lot of snow? How many inches?
 IT IS GONE RIGHT NOW
8. Which temple are you currently near?

OGDEN

9. How often do you get to go to that Temple?
 ONCE A WEEK
10. How many church meeting do you have per week?
 WE ARE AT CHURCH FROM 6 TILL 4
11. What kinds of service have you been able to do the last few months? (ex. rake leaves, shovel snow, etc..)
  HELPED PEOPLE MOVE, MOWED A LAWN, AND TRIMMED A TREE
12. How often do you get to eat at a members home? Do they have to have an investigator at their dinner?
 NO INVESTIGATORS AT DINNER USUALLY BUT WE EAT 6 TIMES IN THE WEEK

 ELDER TIDWELL AND I WERE WALKING NEAR A HOME OF ONE OF OUR INVESTIGATORS AND WE FELT THE PROMPTING TO GO VISIT HIM. HE HAD RECIENTLY GOTTEN OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND ASKED ABOUT BLESSINGS I HAD READ IN THE BIBLE IN JAMES WHERE IT TALKS ABOUT THEM THAT MORNING AND WAS ABLE TO SHARE THAT WITH HIM AND THEN HE ACCEPTED A BLESSING. THE LORD DOES INSPIRE US.

Hey Everyone,

 

The week has gone well as you will see in the questions. Don't worry about the package too much. I have been trying to think of things for Christmas but I cant. What I will tell you is the things I get, would get better use by me if they are things that can be used at home as well. as much as I love ties I have plenty. I will keep thinking this week.

The week went well we were able to find two more investigators. unfortinately only one accepted a baptismal invitation. There are many blessings in the air from the Lord we just need to continue to work and be worthy of these blessings.
