Hey Everyone,

Well I just received my "Trunkie Call" or the call that they plan how I will be going home. I will be flying by the way and when you guys want I can drive up and back with you to let you meet people that I have met on the mission. I am going to answer the questions now.

President's Letter:

Dear President,

The week has gone well. There are several people that we were able to set up lessons with. We want those 20 lessons. We have been telling ward mission leaders and bishops of our goal. It seems they are more willing when we tell them of the goal.

I have written a parable for District meeting i would like your thoughts on it.

The Parable Of The Invitations:

A certain missionary had a member family commit to invite their non-member friend to meet with him.He went off to work in the area and said, "I will be back in a few days to follow up." The missionary returned to find that the family out of fear had not invited their friends. And he was wroth with them and sorely rebuked them (whether aloud or in his mind it does not matter). That night the missionary had a lesson with a new investigator. When the time came for him to extend the invitation for them to be baptized out of fear he did not invite them.

I desire that each missionary in the Lord's district will invite investigators to be baptized each time they see them, so the investigator can repent.

9. How often do you get to go to the Temple? ALMOST EVERY WEEK

I KNEW HE MOVED TO ROSELLAS BUT HE DOESN'T WRITE
11. What kinds of service have you been able to do the last few months? (ex. rake leaves, ect.)

I DON'T KNOW WHAT I HAVE ALREADY SAID BUT HERE IT GOES.

WHEN I FIRST GOT INTO WEST OGDEN I SET A LIST UP OF ALL THE CHILDREN THAT WERE NOT BAPTIZED. I WENT TO CORRELATION WITH THIS LIST SAYING WE WERE THERE TO FIND. THERE WAS ONE WARD MISSION LEADER THAT RIGHT AWAY REJECTED THE LIST AND SAID THAT WE WERE JUST LOOKING FOR EASY BAPTISMS. I REALLY FELT LIKE ALL THE WARD MISSION LEADERS MIGHT START FEELING THE SAME WAY. ONE OF THEM (BROTHER ATKINSON) WANTED TO HELP US WITH THE ONES IN THE WARD. WE WENT TO THE HOME OF THE PRISKS AND BEGAN TALKING ABOUT THEIR GRANDSON KADEN. THEY TOLD US THEY DIDN'T WANT US TEACHING HIM AND WE LEFT DISCOURAGED. ABOUT A MONTH LATER WE WERE OUT WITH BROTHER ATKINSON AGAIN AND I HAD THE FEELING THAT WE NEEDED TO STOP THERE AGAIN. ELDER KAFOA AND HIM GAVE ME A STRANGE LOOK AND SAID OK I GUESS WE CAN STOP BY. WE WENT AND FOUND THAT BROTHER PRISK WANTED US TO COME AND START TEACHING KADEN. WE STARTED TEACHING KADEN AND FOUND THAT BROTHER PRISK HAD BEEN DEVELOPING HIS KNOWLEDGE AND FAITH. HE WOULD BEAR TESTIMONY OF THE THINGS WE TAUGHT. HE ENDED UP PREPARING TO BAPTIZE AND BAPTIZED KADEN.

20. How many times have you read the book of Mormon? Do you find yourself skipping around allot? I AM STILL ON MY FIRST I FEEL LIKE BECAUSE I KEEP FINDING NEW SCRIPTURES BUT I HAVE READ IT AT LEAST ONCE WITH EACH COMPANION

Hey Everyone,

The week went well. We found out we should be able to baptize these two girls that we have been teaching for a while. They finally got permission. it is always exciting to have things like that happen.

Things Are going great we hope to be able to pick up some more invesitgators this week. we have been searching but we will be in complete finding mode this week.

Dear President,

The week has gone well. The Richardsons have recieved permission to be baptized. We are very excited to see that happen. We have started to tell each ward mission leader and bishop that we want to teach 20 lessons a week. We are definately working towards that goal. I know that desire to teach 20 lessons is from the Lord and I want to obey it.

Hey Everyone,

The week went well. We had a young boy by the name of Xander get baptized on Saturday. There was a really good turn out at the baptism.

I have been reading Jesus The Christ. There are so many things that didn't make sense at first that now make sense. One of them was in Matthew 12:46-50. I felt that it was a little harsh that he did that but then it explained it so well.

Elder Banda (one of my past zone leaders) taught me this workout that killed me yesterday. It was this ab workout it was intense but I feel great.

On another note when I got out of the MTC I weighed about 220, now I am about 172. I have lost 48 lbs. that is amazing!

President's Letter:

Dear President,

The week went well. Thanks for the advise on the part-member List we will try the ward clerks. Xander Hall was baptized this week. We had a miracle this week, there are these two young girls that we are teaching that their mother still had some legal rights to and they were not able to be baptized but she signed the rights away so we are working with their brother (they live with him) on a baptismal date.

Hey Everyone,

Well I will be staying in this area for another six weeks with Elder Tidwell.

We have one person that should be baptized this week.

I am sorry I am really having a hard time thinking of things to write. I do miss the questions that helped me think of things to tell you all.

The Lord has been helping in this work and I know He will continue to do so.

I invite you all to pray for missionary experiences. D&C 4.

Hey everyone,

The week was good, I loved General Conference. I was able to attend the Priesthood Session. Elder Tidwell and I were able to be at the Sunday morning session.

I do receive 30 minutes total but I have to write President Olson and I have to read the emails that I receive. I only have one minute left.

Well i got more time so I will continue to write.

How was General Conference For you. One of my favorites was the Parable of the dirty Laundry during women's conference. No I didn't attend I heard it through members. That is such a good principle for life.

I got a call from Lorraine Nelson. She is doing well and wanted some pictures from her baptism so I will have to get her some of those. It is amazing how much the Lord helps in this work. I suppose that it is his work and his glory (Moses 1:39). I do know that Thomas S Monson is the Prophet on the earth today. I know this because I received another spiritual witness during Conference. I know that when we heed the things he tells us that we will be lifted up at the last days.

I may have received more time but I cant think of anything else to tell you.

Dear President,

This week was amazing. I loved General Conference, one of the main things that I noticed was that many things talked about were things that I have been working on recently. I have been developing the Christlike attribute of humility and we had a talk on pride.

The Lord blessed us this week with two more of his children to teach that he has prepared. We are still searching, and I desire to have the spirit be the senior companion. I know that the Lord has more children waiting.

Hey everyone,

Once again P-Day is on Tuesday instead of Monday. I am going to start by sending pictures and answering questions as I only have nine minutes left.

Things went well this week and we were able to see two more of the Lords children enter the waters of baptism. The Lord is blessing so many people. Elder Olson told me that Harry Heywood might be baptized on the 9th. I hope that it happens. I am praying for him.

Elder Tidwell is a really determined missionary. He wants to be  here and he knows the Lord's purpose for placing him here.
