9-7-10

Hey everyone,

This week has gone good. I was transferred last second to Layton and now I only cover one stake The Layton Utah Stake. My new companion is Elder Tidwell. He is amazing he has such a big heart for people and wants them all to come unto Christ. He seems a little shy, but all in all he continues to improve each day. He seems to be more happy each day he is out here, it is funny he wants time to fly by and I want time to slow down. He is a little homesick, I think he will be OK though.

The stake we cover is very small so we are now on bikes so it will be interesting to see how the transfer goes. I have heard some good things about this area. I cant wait to see what success the Lord has here.

Last p-day:

I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE YO DO THIS IN 200 WORDS OR NOT BECAUSE WE REALLY DIDN'T DO MUCH.

ON MONDAY NIGHT WE WERE PLANNING AND WHILE DOING IT WE HAD A WARD MISSION LEADER CALL US TO ASK ABOUT SOME INVESTIGATORS. WHILE HE WAS TALKING WE HAD A CALL COME IN ON THE OTHER LINE AND SO I IGNORED IT THINKING IT WAS NOTHING. THEY LEFT A VOICE MAIL SO I WENT TO VOICE MAIL THINKING IT MUST BE IMPORTANT THEY LEFT A MESSAGE THE FIRST MESSAGE WAS AN INVESTIGATOR SO I HUNG UP THE PHONE AND OPENED IT AGAIN AND CALLED THE LAST NUMBER THAT I SUPPOSED WOULD BE THEM AND A DIFFERENT VOICE GREETED ME..."THIS IS ELDER FAGERBERG." MY HEAD DROPPED BECAUSE I KNEW THAT IT WAS FOR ME HE CALLED ME TO BE A TRAINER AND THEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO ELDER BENNETT AND CALLED HIM TO BE A TRAINER AS WELL. WE BOTH WENT TO BED AFTERWARDS VERY NERVOUS.

THE NEXT MORNING WE GOT UP AT 5:45 AND WENT TO PLAY ZONE SPORTS (SPEED BALL). THEN A FAMILY FED US BREAKFAST. FRENCH TOAST. WE WENT HOME FINALLY AND GOT READY FOR THE DAY AND GOT A HAIR CUT. THEN WE WENT TO THIS PLACE CALLED CLASSIC FUN CENTER. THEY HAD A BUNCH OF THIS RANDOM STUFF THERE IT SEEMED LIKE EVERYONE THAT WENT BECAME LITTLE KIDS AGAIN. THEY HAD THOSE INFLATEABLE SLIDE THINGS AND I ENDED UP GETTING FRICTION BURNS FROM IT. THEY ALSO HAD A ROLLER SKATE PLACE. I DONT ROLLER SKATE SO I RODE A SCOOTER AROUND.

THEN WE WENT HOME AND ELDER BENNETT PACKED TILL WE HAD SOME WORK TO DO. THAT NIGHT WE WENT TO BED AND WERE AWAKENED BY THE PHONE AT 11:15 ISH IT WAS THE ASSISTANTS TELLING US THAT THERE WAS A CHANGE AND I WAS LEAVING THE AREA THE NEXT MORNING. I WAS TIRED SO I JUST WENT BACK TO BED CONFUSED.

Not much else i can think of.

Love you all

Elder Lunt

So for the questions:

1 (Robert) In 200 words, what did you do you your last p-day? SEE ABOVE

2 (Grandma) Did you get the package I sent to you? NOT YET

3 (Nate) Are you shoes starting to wear out from tracting? (I actually wondered that too) NO WE RARELY TRACT

4 (Elder Weshe) What stakes do you cover? (He is from that area) I USED TO COVER THE LEGACY STAKE, THE PARKWAY STAKE, AND THE ORCHARD STAKE

Dear President,
This week has gone well. We were able to meet most of the Investigators and several auxilaries. Elder Tidwell was sick for a couple days and those days I cleaned the apartment. Elder Tidwell seems to be struggling with the change in altitude with riding a bike.

President, the house that we live in is so funny I cant help but laugh when I see the shower. This area has so much potential. I cant wait to see the things that start happening.

Elder Tidwell seems to be doing better. He has a really high potential. I have no doubt that he, if he continues to stretch himself, will be a really successful missionary. It amazes me how much better missionaries come out now compaired to when I came out. President I am excited to work this transfer.

Thanks for all you do.
Love

Elder Lunt
